BigMIND Bring Your Own Hard­disk (BYOHD) technology, allows you to bypass the internet by shipping your data directly to our data centres. All you need to do is unplug your disk and mail it, we’ll do the rest. Need to recover your data? Contact us and we will ship your data back to you.

 

BYOHD service is currently supported in US/EU regions, all data will be analyzed securely and on-the-fly. This service supports unlimited number of drives and can be used at any time; not just as an initial seed.

Yes, once your files are processed we will return the disk to your return address with no extra charge. Your disk will be wiped before sending it back.

It depends on your Internet connection speed and the amount of data you wish to backup. Basically if you have more than 2TB, shipping will save time and Internet bandwidth.

Yes, for non internal SATA hard drives, your package must include your connector cables, power cables and power supply. If any of these are missing, we will return your package unprocessed. For internal SATA hard drives, no cables are necessary.
